MAHWAH, NJ -- The softball team dropped both ends of a non-conference doubleheader to Ramapo College on Wednesday afternoon at the Ramapo Athletic Center. John Jay fell in game one, 11-0, in five innings, and then ended up losing game two, 11-3, in five innings. The Bloodhounds fall to 11-19 on the season, while the Roadrunners improve to 23-6 on the year.
Freshman
Mackenzie Tresch went 1-3 with an RBI double, run scored, and stolen base in game two. Sophomore
America Rivera went 1-2 with a walk, RBI, and run scored. Junior
Nicole Lopez reached base safely twice and had an RBI.
The Bloodhounds have Thursday off and will return to action on Friday against Brooklyn College. First pitch of the doubleheader will be at 4:30 in Brooklyn.
