The Harlem, NY native scored ten of her 27 points from the free-throw line, going 10 of 11 from the stripe while also adding six rebounds, two steals and an assist.

Ayanna Edwards added a season-high 16 points, ten of her 16 also came from the charity stripe as the Huntington Station, NY native corralled seven rebounds, swiped three steals in 37 minutes of work.

For the fourth time in five games, Kamryn Hammond registered a double-double as the Poughkeepsie, NY native poured in 13 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds, 14 of which coming on the defensive end.

Three Wolves scored in double-figures on the afternoon, led by Gabrielle Franks, who netted a game-high 29 points on 9 of 14 shooting while hitting 11 of 14 from the line. Franks was a force at both ends, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out a team-best five assists while also rejecting four shots.

Nicole Vivian joined Franks as she contributed 23 points on an efficient 9 of 18 shooting display from the field while also notching a double-double, grabbing ten rebounds in 35 minutes.

Nicole Peralta was the third West Conn player to reach double-digits as she added 13 points in 37 minutes of action.

Both teams traded points over the first few moments of the contest before the Bloodhounds staged a 13-1 run over the next three minutes in building an 18-8 lead, capped by a Hammond three-pointer off the feed from Hannah Ruberto

The Wolves responded in a big way, closing out the first quarter on an 11-1 run of their own in tying the game at 19-19 after Maggie Nardini banked home the layup just before the first quarter horn sounded.

Zeolla started the second quarter with a mid-ranger jumper from Edwards that broke the tie but Franks quickly retied the game after hitting on a pair of free throws.

The two teams continued counter one another with scores until John Jay got the upper hand, closing out the first half on a 14-6 run that saw the Bloodhounds stifle the Wolves' offense, holding them to 3 of 14 over the final 7:24 in taking a 35-29 lead into the locker rooms.
