Bronx, NY - The John Jay men's soccer team made its bi-annual trip to The Bronx on Saturday afternoon for a CUNY Athletic Conference showdown with the Lehman College Lightning.
After pulling level with the Lightning just after halftime, the Bloodhounds conceded twice in the final half-hour and Lehman held for the conference win.
Lehman struck first, going up in the five minutes. The Lightning's Brandon Dennis worked to link up with Mohamed Ali Sogoba, who scored his fifth goal this season to give his side a 1-0 advantage.
Aaron Cedillo looked to make an instant impact off the bench in the 27th minute, forcing Lehman keeper Andres Barajas into a save less than two minutes after joining the game.

The lead only held for seven minutes, when Sogoba secured his brace to go up 2-1.
The Bloodhounds battled for an equalizer into the final minutes, but the Lightning scored the final goal of the match. Joseph Ademola Opesanwo used his first goal of the season to secure his team a 3-1 victory.
Rossi-Levin finished the match with nine saves.
NEXT UP: The Bloodhounds close out the regular season by traveling to Brooklyn College on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Kick-off against the Bulldogs is set for 6:00 p.m.
