Northfield, VT - The John Jay rifle team dropped a close match with Norwich University, falling 4348-4266.
 
The Bloodhounds were victorious by three points over the Cadets, 2213-2210, but fell 2138-2053 in smallbore.
 
Danny Canning was the top individual in the competition, firing off an aggregate of 1133, (557 in smallbore and 576 in air rifle). Kaitlyn Ayers finished fifth at 1068, with a season-best of 557 in air rifle.
 
JB Zhao concluded the competition with a 1034 - including a season-best 540 in air rifle). Rochelle Redwood and Bryan Gomez each finished at 1031 with Gomez shooting his best air rifle score of 551.
