New York, NY - The John Jay men's tennis team fell to the Pratt Institute Cannoneers, 7-2, on Thursday evening.

John Jay falls to 2-4 on the season while Pratt moves to 6-3.

The visitors claimed a 2-0 lead after picking up doubles wins at No. 3 and No. 2 before Nikita Sadounichy and Deondre Mckenzie posted an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles.

Sadounichy earned his sixth win of the season, besting Mehul Bhargava, 8-2.

The Cannoneers picked up wins at No. 6, No. 3, No. 5, No. 2, and No. 4 singles action.

The Bloodhounds are scheduled to travel to Purchase, NY to tangle with Purchase at 3:00 p.m.
