Men’s Soccer Blanked At Home Against Baruch, 1-0, On Saturday

New York, NY – Both the John Jay men's soccer team and their opposition, the Baruch College Bearcats, played to a stalemate for nearly the entire match until the 84' when the visitors struck for the first goal of the contest as the Bloodhounds fell to the Bearcats, 1-0, on a rainy Saturday afternoon from Randall's Island Field 70.

With the loss, the Bloodhounds drop to 2-10-1 on the season and 1-2-1 in CUNYAC play while the Bearcats move to 2-4-4 and 1-1-2 in CUNYAC.

The visitors created the most chances in the contest, outshooting John Jay, 28-7, including a 15-3 edge in the first half of play.

John Jay's Davio Rossilevin notched nine saves in the contest but with just six minutes remaining in the contest, Baruch was able to break through for the eventual game-winner as Sardor Abidov located the loose ball and push one past Rossilevin for the game's only goal.
