Farmingdale, NY - The John Jay baseball dropped its midweek non-conference tilt at Farmingdale State, 10-4.
Jaxen Gangwish and Ethan Simaan each had two hits, with Simaan driving in two RBIs for the visitors.

The Rams had four players produce multi-hits games, led by Jordan Lambert's 3 for 4 day at the plate, as he added two RBIs. Tyler DiRocco, Kaolis Delacruz, and Justin DiMartino had two hits, and Chris McGuggart matched Lambert with two RBIs.

Michael Camardi earned the win after coming on in relief of TJ Cox. DiRocco picked up the save after finishing the final 1.1 innings in which he didn't allow a run and striking out three batters.

DiRocco led off the first for FSC with a double to left field. He came around to score on the McGuggart double. The next batter, Lambert, singled to right that brought in McGuggart.

Following a scoreless second, the Bloodhounds evened the contest at 2-2. Gangwish led off the frame with an infield single to second. Walks to Santo Anzalone and Hayden Tackett loaded the bases for Simaan. Camardi came on and gave up the tying RBI single to Simaan.

The Rams scored six runs over the next four innings in building an 8-2 lead. The big inning from Farmingdale came in the bottom of the fifth. Richie Heyder reached on a fielder's choice to first that scored DiRocco. Both Heyder and

Delacruz executed a double steal, with Delacruz scoring on the play to give the Rams a 5-2 lead. McGuggart sent a sacrifice fly to right center that plated Heyder for a 6-2 advantage for Farmingdale.

John Jay trimmed the lead in half, 8-4, as James Hordodyski sent an RBI single to left field. He moved up to second on a wild pitch that scored Anthony Agosta.

The Rams responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame as DiRocco singled to left center before James Manzella plated a run on the double to left center.
