Flushing, NY - The No. 4 seed John Jay men's tennis fell to the top-seed Baruch at the USTA National Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Bloodhounds, who fall to 2-9, will now close out their season on Tuesday, April 29 as they travel to Albertus Magnus.
Baruch will square off against Brooklyn on May 1 for the CUNYAC title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
The Bloodhounds were defeated at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles as Baruch went up 2-0 in the overall match and picked up a forfeit win at No. 3.
The Bearcats sealed the match at No. 6 and No. 5 singles with straight set triumphs by Giovanni De Santis (No. 6) and Steven Margolis (No. 5).Â
