Men's Soccer Shutout On The Road At WestConn

Danbury, CT - The John Jay men's soccer team was blanked on the road by the WestConn Wolves, 6-0, on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bloodhounds fall to 1-8-0 while the Wolves move to 5-4-2.

Eden Chaftzadi led the way for the Bloodhounds with two shots on target. Josh Clemas and Helmer Herrera each added a shot on goal. Davio Rossilevin made two saves in the first half before Artem Khapugin recorded six saves.

The Wolves trio keepers of Makai Smith, Justin Rivest, and Michael Arcuri combined for four saves, with Arcuri making two stops.

WestConn's Nickolas Santana and Matthews Rocha each netted two first-half goals before Maximus Vigo and Denton Guy-Williams scored in the second half.

The Bloodhounds commence CUNYAC play on Wednesday, October 1, as they take on Hunter.

Kickoff is set for noon.
