Mt. Vernon, NY - The John Jay rifle team continued its winning ways in smallbore competition, as the Bloodhounds defeated MAC-Rifle rivals, Maritime, 2578-2052.

Danny Canning led the way, firing a 531, while teammate JB Zhao finished at 530.
Allana Dan continued her impressive shooting, concluding the match at 512.
Marian Kopram was next at 508 while
Cassidy Derosia rounded out the top-five shooters at 497.
Maritime was led by Abigail Wells, who finished at 459. Nikolas Bennett (440), Zachary Peltz (423), Sartah Peddepalli (391), and David Tachie (339) rounded out the scoring for the Privateers.
The Bloodhounds were able to insert a variety of additional shooters during the match.
Bryan Gomez shot a 489 while Noelia Gonzalez shot above her season average, tallying a 463.

John Jay heads to the University of Rhode Island to take on the Rams in both disciplines on Saturday, February 14.
