New York, NY - Freshman left-hander Alex Morrissey earned the final CUNYAC Pitcher of the Week honors, the league announced.

For Morrissey, it marks his first collegiate accolade.

CCNY claimed both Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, with Demetri Ziorgiannis named Player of the Week, and Tyler Persampire named Rookie of the Week.

The White Plains, NY native went the distance in the regular season finale against Lehman, earning the win after allowing one earned run over seven innings, scattering six hits and striking out six batters without allowing a walk.

Morrissey and the Bloodhounds gear up to tangle with the top-seed Baruch at Purchase College, with first pitch slated for 12:30 p.m.
