John Curran

Assistant Coach

John Curran joined the men's basketball coaching staff in September 2019. He will assist the Bloodhounds in areas of opponent scouting and video analysis, as well as game plan preparation.

Curran comes to John Jay after spending the last four seasons at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio under Coach Carl Kremer. At Moeller, he assisted the coaching staff with scouting upcoming opponents through live game and video analysis. He has also served as an assistant coach at John Carroll University (DIII) in Cleveland, Ohio under Coach Mike Moran and Brecksville High School in Cleveland, Ohio under Coach Steve Mehalik.

Curran was a four year letter winner in men's basketball at John Carroll University. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
