Kieran Hamilton is in his first season as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program. 

Hamilton's basketball career started at Holy Cross High School in Flushing, NY where he competed in the CHSAA’s Catholic League. At Holy Cross, he was invited to participate on Puerto Rico's 16U National team. He would spend two years at Holy Cross before transferring to The Dwight School, a private school located in the heart of Manhattan, NY. At Dwight, he led the Lions to a New York City Championship, and a New York State Playoff Berth. There he achieved All State Honors, and Daily News Best of the City recognition. Averaging 24.6 points per game (3rd best in New York state), while accumulating over 1,300 points in just two years. After graduating at Dwight, Kieran then went on to attend Williston Northampton in Massachusetts for a postgraduate year, going on to win a NEPSAC A Championship in a league notorious for breeding NBA caliber talent.

After his prep year, Kieran earned a full scholarship to the New York Institute of Technology. At New York Tech, he spent three-and-a-half seasons where he went on to score 1,150 points, while ending his career amongst the best in school history in 3 pointers made (191) and steals (118). Before graduating, Kieran was drafted into Puerto Rico’s Professional League (Baloncesto Superior Nacional) by the Capitanes de Arecibo, being one of the few NCAA Division II players in 2019 to be selected. After two stints in the Puerto Rican league, Kieran has since started a career in personal training and has trained well over a thousand players. Alongside his brother Kevin they founded Hamilton Hoops Academy. a premier training organization stemming throughout the tri-state area helping kids hone in on intermediate and college level preparation.
