John Jay College Interim Director of Athletics
Brandon Fieland announced the addition of Arielys Polanco as the new athletics rentals administrative assistant.
"We are thrilled to welcome Arielys to the Bloodhounds staff," commented Fieland. "Her extensive work experience, along with her demeanor and attention to detail, makes her the ideal candidate for this position. We look forward to continuing our relationships with our internal and external rental groups with Arielys spearheading this role."
Polanco will handle all internal and external rental arrangements for the athletics department. She has extensive experience in rental operations as she currently serves as an executive assistant at Splash Fit Swim Club.
"I would like to thank Brandon (Fieland) for giving me this opportunity," said Polanco. "Having the chance to contribute to a collegiate athletics program is something I have been interested in for some time now, and in this role, I plan to continue fostering those relationships we have and build new ones throughout the years."
Polanco also serves as a meet director responsible for timing and scoreboard operations during swim meets and lifeguard manager at the John Jay Pool.
Polanco graduated from The City College of New York with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and minored in Management and Administration.
