Box Score 2 New York, N.Y.— The John Jay men's volleyball team officially opened for business for the first time in over a decade on Saturday as they fell short losing two matches at a CUNYAC multi match. The Bloodhounds lost to York College 3-0 (16-25, 21-25, 18-25), before falling to defending conference champion Baruch 3-0 (10-25, 5-25, 14-25) at the Hunter College Sportsplex.
Against York, the Bloodhounds were led by
Korede Griffith with nine kills and four digs, while
Frankie Galang had six kills, three service aces and four digs.
Ching Wu added two kills, four digs, two block solos and a blocking assist.
Against Baruch, Galang, Griffith,
Juan Hernandez and
Dale Hoa had two kills each.
Rashid Allah Morad added five digs for the Bloodhounds.
John Jay returns to action on Thursday, February 9 at Kean University at 7:30 p.m.
