Box Score The women's volleyball was defeated by the College of Saint Elizabeth, 3-1 (25-27, 25-9, 25-10, 25-12), on Thursday night in Morristown, NJ. As a result, the Bloodhounds fall to 6-17 (2-5 in CUNYAC) in 2013. With the Screaming Eagles win, they have taken the season series.
The loss snaps John Jay's two-game win streak.
"The first set was a tough one and I was happy the girls fought hard to take it," head coach
Eder Mathelier said. "Unfortunately, we did not play the way we have been playing of late after the first set."
The Bloodhounds return home next week for their final two home games of the season. On Tuesday, October 29, the Bloodhounds will face Brooklyn College at 6:00pm. On Friday, November 1, John Jay will honor its four seniors before their match against King's College (PA) at 5:00pm.
