Box Score The women's volleyball team fell to conference opponent Brooklyn College, 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 27-25) on Tuesday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds drop to 5-19 overall (1-7 in CUNYAC) and the Bulldogs improve to 12-15 overall (5-3 in CUNYAC).
Sophomore
Latanya Buckham finished with a game-high 16 kills, to go along with five kills and one service ace. Senior
Martina Hot recorded 10 kills and eight digs. Junior
Katherine Bonilla registered 19 assists, four service aces, and seven digs. Sophomore
Qendresa Efendija added four kills and two assists. Senior
Amanda Moreno and sophomore
Perla Pozo recorded four and three digs, respectively.
"Tonight was a tough game for us," head coach
Eder Mathelier said. "We need to win on Friday and bring some momentum with us in the CUNYAC playoffs."
The Bloodhounds will close out their season on Friday, November 1 against King's College (PA) and honor their five seniors. The match is scheduled to start at 5pm at the Doghouse.
