The women's volleyball team defeated St. Joseph's College - Brooklyn, 3-0 (27-25, 25-20, 25-20) on Thursday evening in Brooklyn, NY. With the win, the Bloodhounds improve to 6-9 on the year while the Bears drop to 4-10 overall.

Latanya Buckham and freshman
Rachel Eng finished with double-doubles for the Bloodhounds. Eng recorded a game-high 14 kills to go along with 10 digs and five service aces. Buckham registered 10 kills and 10 digs. Junior
Perla Pozo had a game-high 14 digs and five service aces. Senior
Katherine Bonilla dished out a game-high 35 assists to go along with seven digs. Junior
Jeanette Luna finished with nine digs, three service aces, and John Jay's lone block. Senior
Amanda Moreno added three service aces.
The Bloodhounds will head to the College of Staten Island for a CUNYAC Multi-Match. John Jay will face Brooklyn College at 2:00pm and then Medgar Evers at 4:00pm.
