The women's volleyball team defeated the College at Old Westbury, 3-0 (25-9, 25-6, 25-20), on Saturday afternoon at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds improve to 2-9 (0-4 in CUNYAC) while the Panthers drop to 0-6 on the year. 

John Jay was led by junior Jeanette Luna, who recorded six kills, a team-high seven service aces, and six digs. Freshman Rachel Eng finished with seven kills and two service aces. Senior Katherine Bonilla dished out 20 assists and junior Latanya Buckham had six service aces. Freshman Morgan Nugent registered a team-high two blocks. Junior Perla Pozo and freshman Kimberly Wright combined for nine digs and five kills.

The Bloodhounds hit the road on Thursday, September 27, at 7:00pm for a conference match against the CCNY Beavers.
