The men's basketball team lost to Manhattanville, 83-73, on Saturday afternoon at Kennedy Gym in Purchase, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 2-12 on the season. The Valiants improve to 5-8 overall.

Kris Owens scored a game-high 31 points, on 12-for-24 shooting, to go along with nine rebounds. Senior
Darell Robinson registered 19 points, shooting 9-for-14, with a game-high seven assists, and three steals. Senior
Korede Griffith swiped a game-high six steals and junior
Kendal Jordan grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
At half, Manhattanville led 40-32. The Valiants outsocred the Bloodhounds in the second half, 43-41. Owens scored 18 of his 31 points in the second half.
John Jay went 32-for-72 (44.4%) from the field 4-for-13 (30.8%) from behind the arc. The Valiants shot 48.3% from the floor and 40% from three.
The Bloodhounds travel to Brooklyn on Wednesday, January 14, to face Medgar Evers College at 8 p.m.
