The women's volleyball team defeated City College (CCNY), 3-1 (18-25, 25-8, 25-18, 25-12), on Thursday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds improve to 9-13 on the season and finish with a 5-3 conference record. The Beavers fall to 6-27 overall and finish with a 2-6 conference record.

Rachel Eng fell one kill shy of a triple-double with a game-high nine kills, a game-high 10 service aces, and a game-high 16 digs. Sophomore

The Bloodhounds host Old Westbury on Saturday, October 31, at 12:00 pm at the Doghouse.John Jay will be the fourth seed in the upcoming CUNYAC tournament. The Bloodhounds will face #5 Brooklyn College on Tuesday, November 3, at 6:00 pm at the Doghouse in a quarterfinals match.
