The men's volleyball team went 1-1 in a CUNYAC Multi-Match on Monday on the campus of Hunter College. The Bloodhounds fell to York College, 3-0 (25-16, 27-25, 25-23), but fought back to defeat Brooklyn College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-9). John Jay improves to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the City University of New York Athletic Conference.

Juan DeJesus recorded a team-high 12 kills, a team-high six digs, three assists, and two service aces. In the absence of
Nicholas Anderson, junior
Jack Palleschi dished out 13 assists to go along with seven kills. Senior
Yevgeniy Remennik registered seven kills, five digs, and a game-high four service aces.
In the win against the Bulldogs, Remennik picked up a game-high 15 kills, six aces, four assists, and three digs. Palleschi finished with a double-double with
13 kills, 18 assists, and six service aces. DeJesus added four kills and freshman
Brandon Dolores dished out five assists and had two digs and two service aces.
For the day, John Jay totaled 64 kills, 50 assists, 30 digs, and 26 service aces.
The Bloodhounds will travel to City College (CCNY) on Thursday, February 19, for a conference match at 7 p.m.
