The men's volleyball team suffered a tough defeat against York College, 3-1 (16-25, 26-24, 25-16, 25-20), on Thursday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds drop to 9-6 on the year and 8-4 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cardinals improve to 12-13 overall and 11-2 in the conference.
Freshman
Juan DeJesus led the Bloodhounds with a team-high 11 kills, five digs, and two service aces. Senior
Yevgeniy Remennik totaled seven kills, eight digs, and one ace. Junior
Nicholas Anderson registered a team-high 23 assists, two kills, six digs, and two service aces. Junior
Jack Palleschi recorded eight kills and four digs. Freshman
Brandon Dolores added eight digs.
The Bloodhounds finished with 30 kills, 25 assists, 34 digs, seven service aces, and three blocks. In comparison, York had 55 kills, 47 assists, 47 digs, four aces, and seven blocks.

Tyreke Moses, who was playing in one of his final home games as a Bloodhound.
The Bloodhounds will look to regroup on Saturday, March 21, when the Bloodhounds host a quad-match at the Doghouse. John Jay will face St. Joseph's College - Brooklyn at 11:00 a.m. followed by #4 ranked Juniata College at 1:00 p.m.
