The women's volleyball team lost to Hunter College, 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-21, on Tuesday evening on the campus of Hunter College. The Bloodhounds fall to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Hawks improve to 3-2 on the season and 3-0 in the conference. 

Junior Katrina Zapanta dished out a team-high 10 assists to go along with three digs. Senior Latanya Buckham and sophomore Rachel Eng finished with four kills and eight digs each. Sophomore Savannah Davis recorded three kills and seven digs. Senior Perla Pozo picked up seven digs. 

John Jay finished the match with 17 kills, 14 assists, three service aces, and 35 digs. 

The Bloodhounds host Lehman College on Friday, September 18, at 7 p.m. at Lehman College.
