The women's volleyball team lost to the College of New Rochelle, 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-17), on Tuesday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 8-11 overall. The Blue Angels improve to 15-9. 

Senior Katrina Zapanta recorded her third double-double of the season with a game-high 15 assists, 10 digs, three kills, and one ace. Junior Rachel Eng fell one kill shy of a double-double with a game-high nine kills, a game-high 15 digs, and one service ace. Freshman Jhoanna Castro notched six kills and five digs. Senior Jeanette Luna registered 10 digs, five assists, and three kills. Junior Savannah Davis added nine digs. 

John Jay totaled 25 kills, 20 assists, two aces, and 51 digs. 

The Bloodhounds host Medgar Evers on Thursday, October 20, at 7:00 pm at the Doghouse. Before the match, the Athletics Department will honor four seniors.
