The women's basketball team lost to Westminster College (PA), 88-48, on Friday afternoon at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 0-11 on the season. The Titans improve to 5-6.

Dana Nicholson nailed a career-high and season-high eight three-pointers and finished with a game-high 24 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Freshman
Kaitlin Koehler registered a career-high nine points and seven boards. Senior

Uju Nwaigwe combined for 15 points and 15 rebounds. Prince also added a game-high four steals and a team-high four assists.
Nicholson opened the contest with two three-pointers as the Bloodhounds led 8-3 with 6:42 left in the first quarter. The Titans cut the deficit to four but Nwaigwe made a layup to increase the lead to 10-4. With 3:54 remaining, Westminster tied the game at 10 apiece. The visitors led 18-16 after the first period. John Jay was outscored 14-4 in the second and went into halftime down 32-20.
In the third, Nwaigwe made a layup and jumper and Nicholson drained a three-pointer to cut the lead down to 35-25. With 3:34 left in the quarter, Nicholson attempted and made a half-court shot before the shot clock expired to trim the deficit to seven. The Titans followed on an 11-2 run and went into the final quarter leading 54-40. In the final period, the Bloodhounds were outscored 34-8.
John Jay finished 15-for-49 (30.6%) from the floor, 9-for-23 (39.1%) from behind the arc, and 9-for-12 (75.0%) from the charity stripe.
The Bloodhounds resume conference play on Wednesday, January 4, when they travel to City College (CCNY) for a 5:00 pm tip-off.
