The men's volleyball team defeated Brooklyn College, 3-1 (25-17, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22), on Thursday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds improve to 10-4 in the conference and 13-10 overall. The Bulldogs fall to 4-10 in CUNYAC and 7-17 on the season.
Senior
Jack Palleschi picked up a game-high 22 kills and eight digs. Senior
Nicholas Anderson totaled a game-high 37 assists, seven kills, four digs, and two service aces. Junior
Francisco Miranda recorded nine kills and four digs. Sophomore
Juan DeJesus registered five kills, six assists, three service aces, and a team-high nine digs. Junior
Carmelo Cintron Jr. added six kills and two service aces. Sophomore
Ivan Yeung finished with six digs.
The Bloodhounds travel to Jamaica, NY on Saturday, March 26, for a CUNYAC Multi-Match. John Jay will face the College of Staten Island at 1:00 pm, followed by Baruch College at 3:00 pm.
