Box Score The women's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 victory over Hunter College on Wednesday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens. The Bloodhounds are now 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. The Hawks drop to 0-3 and 0-1 in CUNYAC. 

For the first time this season, the Bloodhounds swept all three doubles. Junior Bernarda Reyes and sophomore Rageene Berry won at the top spot, 8-6. Freshman Angelica Lozando Pena and junior Dominique Dawkins cruised to an 8-2 victory at number three. 

In singles, sophomore Viktoriia Plisenko was victorious at #3, 6-0, 6-1. After dropping the second set, senior Gabriela Baez stormed back to take the third, 6-2 to win by a score of 6-0, 4-6, 6-2. 

The Bloodhounds travel to York College on Saturday, September 24, for a conference match at 12:00 pm.
