Doubles competition

The Bloodhounds took a 2-1 leading after doubles play. The tandem of junior Bernarda Reyes and sophomore Viktoriia Plisenko cruised to an 8-2 victory in the top spot. In two doubles, junior Dominique Dawkins and senior Gabriela Baez won 8-5.

In singles, Reyes won easily at the number one spot, 6-2, 6-0. Baez defeated the Bulldogs's number three player, 6-3,6-1. Plisenko came out victorious at number two, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.

The Bloodhounds host the College of Staten Island on Friday, September 9, at 4:00 pm at Cunningham Park.
