The men's basketball team fell to Lehman College, 80-72, on Saturday afternoon in the Bronx. The Bloodhounds drop to 6-13 on the season and 5-7 in the conference. The Lightning improve to 12-8 overall and 8-4 in CUNYAC. 

Senior Kiernan Hayes recorded a team-high 19 points, five rebounds, one block and one steal. Junior MiKing Richardson picked up 14 points and two assists. Freshman Wyatt Harkins registered 10 points and two steals. Sophomore Essien Epps added nine points, a game-high 10 boards, and a team-high three steals. 

John Jay went 25-for-59 (42.4%) from the field, 6-for-18 (33.3%) from behind the arc, and 16-for-21 (76.2%) from the free throw line. 

The Bloodhounds travel to Mitchell College on Monday, January 30, for a non-conference game at 6:00 pm.
