Box Score The women's tennis team defeated Farmingdale State College, 7-2, on senior day on Thursday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 7-3 on the season. The Rams drop to 6-8 overall.
John Jay swept all three doubles matches. At number one, senior
Bernarda Reyes and junior
Rageene Berry swept their opponents, 8-0. The duo is now 5-2 on the year.
In singles, Reyes, Berry, sophomore
Angelica Lozano, and freshman
Gabriela de Armas all picked up victories. de Armas, Berry, and Lozano won their matches in straight sets. Berry improves to 9-0 on the season.

Before the match, the Athletics Department honored seniors Rageene Berry, Rachael Clemons, Dominique Dawkins, and Bernarda Reyes, who were playing in their final regular season home match of their collegiate career.
The Bloodhounds face Hunter College on Saturday, October 14, for their final match of the regular season at 3:30 pm at the USTA NTC.
