Box Score The #4 women's tennis team defeated #5 Lehman College, 5-3, in the CUNYAC Quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 9-3 on the season. The Lightning end the season with an overall record of 4-12.

Gabrielle Schuck quickly won at number two doubles, 8-1. John Jay then led 2-0 after sophomore

Clara Aylin Wilhelm came out on top, 8-5. Lehman cut the deficit to 2-1 after taking top doubles, 8-6.
In singles, de Armas won at the third spot in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1. Schuck then recorded her second win of the day when she was victorious at four, 6-4, 6-0, to increase the lead to 4-1. The Lightning followed to win at one and six to trim the lead to 4-3. John Jay clinched the victory when sophomore
Rageene Berry defeated Lehman's number two, 6-2, 6-4.
The Bloodhounds will face the top seeded the College of Staten Island on Tuesday, October 23, at 3:00 pm at the USTA NTC. Earlier in the season, the Dolphins edged John Jay by a final score of 5-4.
