The men's volleyball team lost two conference matches on Monday on the campus of Baruch College. The Bloodhounds fell to Baruch College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-18), and Lehman College, 3-1 (22-25, 25-16, 25-11, 25-17). John Jay drops to 4-8 overall and 0-2 in the CUNY Athletic Conference.

Edwin Hernandez recorded a team-high eight kills and four digs each. Freshman
Steven Alvarado dished out a team-high 17 assists and freshman
Godwin Sequeria finished with a team-high eight digs.
Against the Lehman Lightning, Hernandez led the way with a game-high 13 kills and a team-high 13 digs. DeJesus registered nine kills and seven digs. Alvarado added a game-high 29 assists, a team-high two aces, and three digs. Junior
Alexander Santana added four kills.
John Jay totaled 52 kills, 50 assists, 71 digs, and six service aces.
The Bloodhounds travel to Brooklyn for a non-conference tri-meet on Saturday, February 25. John Jay faces Lancaster Bible College at 1:00 pm, followed by Medgar Evers College at 3:00 pm.
