The men's volleyball team fell to St. Joseph's College Long Island, 3-1 (25-8, 25-18, 21-25, 25-15), on Wednesday evening in Patchogue, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 3-2 overall. The Golden Eagles improve to 4-2.
Freshman
Steven Alvarado led John Jay in assists with a team-high 19 to go along with five digs and a team-high three service aces. Freshman
Ryan Willix finished with a team-high six kills and four digs. Junior
Juan DeJesus recorded five kills and a team-high nine digs. Senior
Francisco Miranda registered five kills and three digs. Junior
Alexander Santana added four kills and
Godwin Sequeria had five digs.
John Jay totaled 24 kills, 22 assists, four aces, and 28 digs.
The Bloodhounds travel to York College for a tri-meet on Saturday, February 11. John Jay will face Alvernia University at 2:00 pm, followed by Wells College at 4:00 pm.
