The men's volleyball team came out on top against City College (CCNY), 3-2 (25-14, 19-25, 28-30, 25-18, 15-8), on Tuesday night on the campus of City College. The Bloodhounds improve to 11-15 and finish the season with a conference record of 4-4. The Beavers drop to 8-16 and 2-6 in CUNYAC.
Junior
Juan DeJesus recorded his second double-double of the season with 13 kills, a game-high 15 digs, and one ace. Freshman
Edwin Hernandez finished with his best game of the season after recorded a game-high 22 kills, three digs, and a team-high two service aces. Freshman
Steven Alvarado registered a game-high 39 assists and freshman
Godwin Sequiera added 12 digs. Junior
Alexander Santana and freshman
Krystian Surdel both had nine kills each.
John Jay totaled 56 kills, 51 assists, five aces, and 53 digs.
The Bloodhounds close out the regular season with a non-conference match against Brooklyn College on Thursday, April 6, at 6:00 pm at the Doghouse. The match will be live streamed at
