The women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match to the College of New Rochelle, 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-15), on Monday night at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 11-9 on the season. The Blue Angels improve to 10-14.
Senior
Mballou Berete led the Bloodhounds with a team-high six kills and a team-high two service aces. Sophomore
Brianna Geraldo tallied a team-high 10 digs and four kills. Junior
Kimberly Rodriguez recorded a game-high 18 assists and sophomore
Nicole Aguasvivas added six digs. Junior
Mirialis Almanzar totaled four kills and a match-high three solo blocks.
John Jay totaled 29 kills, 27 assists, 37 digs, 13 service aces, and six total blocks.
The Bloodhounds host Mount Saint Mary College on Tuesday, October 23, at 7:00 pm at the Doghouse. Before the match, the Athletics Department will honor seniors
Mballou Berete,
Hualeska Garcia,
Nyla Lloyd-Clarke, and
Allison Williams as part of senior day.
