The women's volleyball team defeated Maritime College, 3-0 (25-16, 25-7, 25-12), on Thursday night at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds are now over .500 for the first time this season with an overall record of 7-6. The Privateers drop to 4-10 on the year.

Kimberly Rodriguez picked up a game-high 34 assists to go along with a match-high four service aces. Sophomore
Nicole Aguasvivas added five digs.
John Jay totaled 37 kills, 35 assists, 29 digs, 10 service aces, and five total blocks.
The Bloodhounds travel to Lehman College on Monday, October 8, for a conference tri-match. John Jay will face Baruch College at 10:00 am followed by Lehman at 2:00 pm.
