Box Score 3 The men's volleyball team went 1-2 over the weekend in non-conference matches. The Bloodhounds shut out Sarah Lawrence College before falling to Misericordia University and Penn State Behrend. John Jay is now 9-6 on the season.

Senior
Juan DeJesus led all hitters with a match-high seven kills and four digs. Sophomore
Godwin Sequiera dished out a game-high 24 assists and senior
Alexander Santana and freshman
Anthony Francois finished with six kills and two digs each. Sophomore
Krystian Surdel registered five kills, a career-high and match-high seven service aces, and four digs. Freshman
Dylan Senkiw recorded a season-high five aces and freshman
Jose Peralta added a game-high six digs and three service aces.
Misericordia 3, John Jay 0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-22)
Surdel led the Bloodhounds with a team-high eight kills. DeJesus tallied six kills and a team-high five digs. Sequiera notched 21 assists and four digs. Francois had a team-high four total blocks.
Penn State Behrend 3, Bloodhounds 1 (15-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-23)
DeJesus and Sequiera registered their first double-doubles of the season. DeJesus recorded a team-high 12 kills, season-high and match-high 15 digs, and a pair of service aces. Sequiera dished out a career-high and season-high 33 assists to go along with 10 digs. Surdel finished with 10 kills. Santana recorded seven kills and six digs and Senkiw added six kills.
The Bloodhounds travel to Yeshiva University on Wednesday, March 7, for a non-conference match at 8:00 pm.
