The women's volleyball team fell to Rutgers-Camden, 3-0 (25-12, 25-23, 25-8), on Wednesday night in Camden, NJ. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-10 on the season. The Scarlet Raptors improve to 9-7 overall. 

Senior Mirialis Almanzar led the way with a match-high 11 kills and a team-high two total blocks. Sophomore Sophia Wheelan notched six kills. 

Sophomore Niovis Monsanto recorded five kills and five digs. Senior Kimberly Rodriguez dished out a game-high 23 assists to go along with five digs. Freshman Stephany Chhay tallied a team-high nine digs. 

The Bloodhounds return to the Doghouse for a non-conference match against New Jersey City University on Thursday, October 3, at 7:00 pm. The match will be live streamed at www.johnjayathletics.com/watch.
