The men's basketball's win streak came to an end on Tuesday evening when they lost to Centenary (NJ), 79-73, at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 6-2 on the year. The Cyclones improve to 3-5 overall.
Senior
Jayson Brower registered his second double-double of the season with a game-high 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Senior
Doug Levy fell one point shy of a double-double with nine points, 10 rebounds, and a team-high two blocks. Junior
Romello Ford tallied a season-high 16 points and a season-high and game-high four steals.
Freshman
Garrison Watkins came off the bench to record nine points, five rebounds, and a career-high and team-high four assists. Junior
Kyle LaGuardia added nine points, five boards, and three steals.
John Jay went 25-for-62 (40.3%) from the field, 2-for-17 (11.8%) from behind the arc, and 21-for-29 (72.4%) from behind the arc.
