The men's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match, 3-1 (25-21, 28-20, 25-22, 25-21), on Thursday evening at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds fall to 10-17. The Gothic Knights improve to 11-11. 

Freshman Alejandro Gallardo finished with 12 kills, three digs, and three blocks. Junior Krystain Surdel recorded 12 kills and three digs. Freshman Carlos Lliviucura dished out a match-high 34 assists and junior Godwin Sequeira notched a game-high 14 digs. 

Sophomore Anthony Francois tallied seven kills, three total blocks, and a pair of service aces. Freshman Carlos Gomez had a match-high three aces. Sophomore Jose Peralta and freshman Doobin Lee combined for nine kills. 

John Jay totaled 42 kills, 37 assists, 22 digs, 11 total blocks, and seven service aces. 

Before the match, the Athletics Department honored senior Michael Chabla as part of Senior Day.

The Bloodhounds close out the regular season on Tuesday, April 2, at City College (CCNY) at 7:00 pm.
