The women's volleyball team lost to Brooklyn College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-13), on Thursday evening in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-4 on the year and 0-3 in conference play. The Bulldogs improve to 7-4 and 2-1 in CUNYAC.
Sophomore
Niovis Monsanto fell one kill shy of a double-double with a match-high nine kills and a team-high 11 digs. Senior
Kimberly Rodriguez dished out a game-high 20 assists to go along with three digs.
Freshman
Stephany Chhay tallied nine digs and a team-high three service aces. Freshman
Jamarie Silverio added five kills and five digs.
John Jay totaled 23 kills, 22 assists, seven service aces, five total blocks, and 37 digs.
The Bloodhounds travel to the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Friday, September 20, for a non-conference match at 7:00 pm.
