The women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match to the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-15), on Friday night in Riverdale, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 1-5 on the year. The Dolphins improve to 7-5.
Sophomore
Niovis Monsanto led the way with a match-high 11 kills and seven digs. Senior
Mirialis Almanzar registered seven kills and freshman
Stephany Chhay notched a game-high 12 digs.
Senior
Kimberly Rodriguez recorded a team-high 17 assists to go along with a pair of service aces. Freshmen
Jamarie Silverio and
Haley Potvin-Sanjurjo finished with five digs and two aces each.
John Jay totaled 23 kills, 20 assists, eight service aces, two total blocks, and 35 digs.
The Bloodhounds travel to Rutgers-Newark on Tuesday, September 24, for a non-conference tilt at 7:00 pm.
