The women's volleyball team lost to William Paterson, 3-0 (25-7, 25-7, 25-19), on Saturday morning at the Doghouse. The Bloodhounds drop to 1-1 on the season. The Pioneers improve to 3-1. 

Senior Mirialis Almanzar led the way with a team-high nine kills and one solo block. Freshman Niovis Monsanto recorded seven kills and six digs. 

Senior Kimberly Rodriguez registered a team-high 11 assists and freshman Stephany Chhay notched a team-high seven digs and team-high two service aces. 

John Jay totaled 18 kills, 16 assists, four service aces, and 24 digs. 

The Bloodhounds open conference play on Saturday, September 14, when they host Baruch College at 10:00 am, followed by CCNY at 2:00 pm.
