The women's basketball team defeated Medgar Evers College, 101-44, on Friday evening in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds improve to 6-7 on the year and 3-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cougars drop to 1-10 and 0-4 in the conference.

Katie Healy fell one rebound shy of a triple-double with 20 points, a career-high and game-high 11 steals, nine rebounds, and five assists. Senior
Nyasha Howard poured in a game-high 25 points, game-high eight assists, five boards, and five steals. Senior
All'aha Albright finished with 18 points, a season-high five steals, five rebounds, and four assists.
Freshman
Jada Rencher picked up her first double-double of her collegiate career with a career-high 12 points, a career-high and game-high 14 rebounds, a career-high five steals, and three assists. Sophomore

John Jay led 55-20 at the half. The Bloodhounds scored 23 points in both the third and fourth quarters.
John Jay finished 42-for-86 (48.8%) from the floor, 5-for-18 (27.8%) from behind the arc, and 12-for-14 (85.7%) from the charity stripe.
The Bloodhounds travel to Rutgers-Newark on Monday, January 13, for a non-conference tilt at 7:00 pm.
