MADISON, NJ -- The women's volleyball team came up short against Drew University in a non-conference on Friday evening by a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-20). With the loss, the Bloodhounds fall to 5-8 on the season, while the Rangers improve to 13-5.
The John Jay offense improved every set, but it wasn't enough to overpower the strong Drew offense. Freshman
Faith Harer paced the Bloodhound offense with nine kills in the match. Freshman
Meghan Smith tallied 13 assists. Freshman
Taylor Hunt had a team-high six digs.
The Bloodhounds will have a quick turnaround, returning to the Doghouse tomorrow to host the John Jay Tri-Match, beginning at 10 a.m. Hunter College and CCNY will be coming to town.
