NEW YORK, NY -- The men's volleyball team hosted a tri-match at the Doghouse on Saturday afternoon to kick off its 2022 campaign, but the Bloodhounds came up short in both matches. John Jay lost in three sets to both opponents, Elms College & Eastern Nazarene College, and falls to 0-2 to start the year.
In the match against Elms College, freshman
Logan Ramos and sophomore
Jack Nugent each had four kills to lead the Bloodhounds. In the match against Eastern Nazarene, freshman
Stephen De Stefani led the way with five kills. Sophomore setter
Alex Bridgelall combined for 30 assists in both matches, and sophomore libero
Bryce Glasper totaled 11 digs in the tri-match.
The Bloodhounds return to the court on Saturday, February 12 for another tri-match hosted at the Doghouse. This time, the participants will be Elizabethtown College and York College. First serve of game-one is set for 11 a.m.
