"After almost three weeks without playing, it was great to be on the court again," commented head women's basketball coach, Lynda Day. "Today's game was a great tune up for conference play, but, more importantly, a pivotal win to close out 2022. A complete team effort, but something that won't show up in the boxscore, was the way we executed down the stretch on the press as Natalie (Simonds) provided a spark off the bench while we made our run. We are excited to resume CUNYAC play, starting off with a rematch of last year's finals at Brooklyn."
