NEW YORK, NY - Men's basketball fought until the very end, but came up just short in overtime against the Lehman College Lightning, 84-76, on Wednesday night at the Doghouse. John Jay falls to 9-12 (6-5 CUNYAC) on the season, while Lehman improves to 17-3 (10-2 CUNYAC) on the year.
After trailing by nine points at halftime, the Bloodhounds clawed their way back into the game quickly in the second period. A layup from junior

The Bloodhounds led by five points with just over a minute left, but a pair of clutch buckets by the Lighting tied the game and forced overtime, where they would win the game by eight.
Rivera dropped a team-high 21 points for the Bloodhounds while grabbing four rebounds and three steals. Sophomore
Dan Kenny fell one rebound shy of a double-double, collecting 11 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore
