NEW YORK, NY -- The men's volleyball team lost to CCNY in four sets (25-20, 28-26, 16-25, 27-25) in a CUNYAC battle on Tuesday evening at Nat Holman Gymnasium. John Jay falls to 7-9 (5-4 CUNYAC) on the year while CCNY improves to 10-5 (5-4 CUNYC) on the season. The two teams are now tied in the conference standings.
After taking the first set, CCNY used that momentum to fight off the Bloodhounds who forced a win-by-two situation in set two. The Beavers came out on top, but John Jay would not give up. They dominated set three, and tried to even up the score in set four but CCNY wound up winning the set in extra points again to secure the victory.
